Grants

TAS Grant for Prospective Teachers and Class musicians 

Prospective teachers and class musicians living in Scotland can apply to TAS at any time for a training related grant (e.g. help with the fee for Summer School or travelling expenses for a course elsewhere).  

Applicants should refer to the criteria below and complete electronically the application form. It should be submitted as an attachment to the Secretary - tas.secretary@mail.com

Each application will be considered according to both the stated criteria and the TAS funds available.

 

Criteria for Application for a Grant.

Prospective teachers must:

• Reside in Scotland
• Wish to attend a teacher training course, either residential or non-residential for Units 2-3 or Unit 5

Musicians must:

• Reside in Scotland
• Wish to develop their proficiency as a class musician or gain the knowledge and skills to become one

Applicants in receipt of a grant are requested to submit a report on their experience to TAS for inclusion on the website and/or in the Members’ Newsletter.
