Workshops

Each year TAS runs autumn and spring workshops on a range of topics.  Past workshop themes include.

  • Jigs and Reels: a progressive programme of Scottish country dances for teachers of children and young people.
  • Miss Milligan meets Madge WIldfire: interpretation of historical dance instructions and the early influence of the RSCDS.
  • Dances with unusual tempi and Formations: some lesser known dances and formations and what can happen when there are 3 steps to each bar.

Details of recent and forthcoming workshops can be found in the news and workshops categories on the right-hand side of the site (or click here).
